Strong light illuminates an upward view of an exaggerated cluster of gathering birds. The birds' warm golden color in chiaroscuro contrasts with the soft blue tropical Miami sky and creates drama. The congregation of birds are tightly packed. Some are resting on the wires, and some are captured taking flight. In the distance, we see a line of out-of-focus birds in silhouette. There is deep complexity to this image even thought there are only three elements to the picture - the birds, the wire and the sky. br The image is as abstract as it's representational and is a celebration of photographer Mitchell Funk's creativity where every elements of his composition strikes a perfect pitch. br The video is coming up a bit light. Use the still images as a reference for more accurate color. br Signed dated and numbered 2\\u002F15 lower right recto, other sizes available, unframed, printed later.
