Scottish female illustrator Annie French renders a charming cropped portrait of a bride in an Art Nouveau Aubrey Beardsley style with curved theme borders. The piece is unsigned and elegantly framed. Provenance: Sold Sotheby's London, February 24, 2005, Lot 81. br The Collection of Ann Getty. Christie's. Labels on verso. br There is pale staining and a few fox marks. Otherwise, it is apparently in good condition. It is Framed under glass. This is a one-of-a-kind original watercolor pen and ink, not an edition.
