Three figures, one small, one walking out of the frame and one without a head, illustrate a radial composition for the time. The foreground figure is a painting and depicts a headless 1940's bustier. Robert Funk painted it to a lenght of 20 inches , mounted it on form-core, silhouetted it, and then shot it against a beach vista. The cut-out figure was in his left hand and the camera was in his right hand. The artist\\u002Fphotographer is photographing his own artwork on location. Robert Funk is a pioneer of Staged Photography , Miniature Photography and Thingie Photography. He was widely published in the late 1970's and early 1980's.
