The roses are stationary but do to their circular structure they give the illusion they are rotating or dancing. br This is a straight photograph without digital manipulation. Each block of roses contains 24 flowers. One level of roses is most visible but there is another level directly beneath that adds subtle depth and density. The key to photographing flowers is preproduction. Flowers wilt quickly.
