In this work, a silhouetted paper cutout of clown has a wood stick support taped it's back. The photographer a la "One Man Band" holds the cutout in his left hand, and in his right hand snaps the picture using a 20mm lens stopped down to F22 giving maximum depth of field and sharpness to foreground and background elements. Directional light is a constant in all his works making foreground cutouts, paintings, toys etc. snap, crackle and pop. br Robert Funk is a pioneer of Staged, Miniature and Toy photography with works going back to 1973. He was widely published in the 1970's and 1980's. All of the works are shot on location and do not use photoshop to superimpose images. The are all " Straight Shots".
