Like all of my staged photos from the late 1970's, this is a straight shot with out photoshop strip in. The Bull Dog is a cut out attached to stick. Part of the support stick is actually showing in the extreme center right quadrant next to the pictures edge. You can also see the shadow of the cutout left leg being cast on the shoulder of the Bull Terrier. Robert Funk is a pioneer of Staged Photography, Miniature Photography and Thingie Photography. He was widely published in the late 1970's and early 1980's. He published a article on Stage Photography in the early 1980s'.
