The 1940's bustier is a 36-inch long painting that I did on masonite. br I placed it in front of a funky retro car at Ft. Lauderdale beach. br It's a juxtaposition of a painting of a sexy girl and a real car's sexy curving sensuous forms. One supposedly made of flesh. The other is made of steel. The two circular tire holder resemble breasts. The composition is a complex interplay of curving patterns shapes and negative and positive spaces. High key lighting creates a light and shadow abstract that layers the meaning of the work. It's almost as if studio lighting was brought out to location. In summary, the image does not follow the recipe for typical expected "Hot" picture.
