This is a very early example of Staged Photography by the photographer who pioneered it. It's about creating a set and shooting it on location. It was done when I was a student at Syracuse University. The church is a 6 inch high plastic model. The three trees in the foreground are tress that were made for model trains sets. They sit on top of a granite gravestone.
