Wherever you look, you see the Chrysler Building, which is particularly true from the Lower East Side. Street Photograph Mitchell Funk isolates a red pre-war parking sign from a busy street scene with a long lens. It pops out from the background while adjacent to the out-of-focus spire of the Chrysler Building and an old light post. Although taken in 2006, the image captures the feel of Old New York. br Signed dated lower right, numbered on lr recto. 3\\u002F15 printed later, unframed. other sizes available. Printed on Hahnemühle Fine Art paper br Mitchell Funk is a pioneer of " Color Photography" In 1970 he participated in one the first " Color Photography" shows at a major museum.
