Two light sources reveal that this is not a straight shot. As a pioneer of multiple-exposure photography, "Romantic Sunset over Ottawa Canada" is typical of Mitchell Funk's experimentation in the early 1970s. The image represents a complete departure from most of the point-and-shoot type photography that was the mainstay of the time. The image is also about the relationships of color. The orange glow from the car lights relates to the orange glow of the setting sun. It's almost 50 years since this image was taken, and it still looks fresh and contemporary. br This archival color photograph by fine art photographer Mitchell Funk is signed, dated and numbered 3\\u002F15, lower right recto. Other sizes are available and the fine art photograph is unframed and printed later. Printed on Hahnemühle Fine Art paper br Mitchell Funk is a pioneer of " Color Photography" In 1970 he participated in one the first " Color Photography" shows at a major museum.
