Conceptual Photographer Mitchell Funk creates a Sci Fi image 2 years before the iconic Close Encounters of a Third Kind was released in 1977 . Funk's work is really two images combined on one 35 mm frame. It seems somewhat real because Funk's matches the color, camera angle and perspective. Done in 1975, this seminal work of hi color\\u002F design photography drives color photography in a new direction. In the late 1970s and 1980s Funk worked for the trailblazing SciFi Magazine Omni published by Bob Guccione. br Signature: Signed, Dated, Numbers 3\\u002F15 lower right recto, other sizes available. unframed, printed later. Printed on Hahnemühle Fine Art paper br Mitchell Funk is a pioneer of " Color Photography" In 1970 he participated in one the first " Color Photography" shows at a major museum. Brooklyn Museum, show "Images en Couleur" . 1971 Included he was included in the visionary book "Frontiers of Photography" Time Life. Color ! American Photography Transformed. Amon Carter Museum. He has had more than 50 Photography Magazine Covers and has had covers on Newsweek and Life Magazine among others.
