A glowing scarlet vase with colorful chrysanthemums is depicted on a tabletop and set against a simple background of like colors. This still life with flowers was most likely done in the 1930s and looks something like the still lifes with flowers by Moise Kisling. The still life is signed lower right Nordfeldt and inscribed "still life" on verso. The authenticity of this work has been confirmed by Professor Gabriel P. Weisberg. It is framed. The overall condition is good with a small repair 3\\u002F4 in. x 3\\u002F4 in. in the upper center-right. Unlined. There is an unobtrusive stretcher bar impression on the top of the work. The colors of the work are very subtle and therefore the painting should be viewed with a top gallery light to bring out an array of subtle colors.
