Who is Grand Bois?
Spirit of the Forest: He is the elemental guardian of trees, plants, herbs, deep woods, and wild places.
Healer and Herbalist: He holds the ancient secrets of herbal medicine, botany, and natural healing.
Associations:
He is often syncretized with Saint Sebastian in Catholic-Vodou
traditions. His colors are typically shades of green (and sometimes red
in specific lineages), and traditional offerings to him include leaves,
herbs, honey, and spiced rum.
