Deceptively simple concept of photographing miniatures creates the illusion that this is a classic African scene. In reality, this is a cheep elephant terracotta that is photographed on the Brooklyn Height Promanade and not on the endless plains of Africa. The dead give away is that both elephants are standing on a carved base with a beveled edge. Normally, I shoot miniatures, props, cut-outs, photographs or my own artwork with a superwide angle lens. This is one of the few instances where I have used a long telephoto lens.
