Pioneering Street Photographer Mitchell Funk exploits an upward angle of the Twin Towers at the World Trade Center. At the convergence of the two towers, a full moon appears wedged between both pinnacles. The image was taken 52 years ago and is an early example of the radical use of pictorial space in color photography. By today's standards, the image looks quite contemporary.
