Condition Report: Observed in frame. Painting is relined and has prior restoration. Stable craquelure throughout, vertical stretcher marks, in-painting, a dent in the upper right quadrant , some uneveness and there are surface irregularities to the canvas. Varnish is uneven in certain areas. That being said, the painting presents quite well when properly lit and displayed. It could benefit from additional restoration. In it's current state it can be hung and will look very good. Most of the surface issues are evident on closer inspection or with raking light. When the viewer steps back the issues and craquelure are less apparent to the naked eye. Hi-end replacement frame is in excellent condition.
