Stunning rich brown patina and topping off at an impressive height of 23 1\\u002F2 inches makes this Villanis version of Capture ( Slave Girl ) an optically impressive work. It's even more engaging when you touch it's seductive polished surface. It's exceptionally heavy and weights about 50 lbs. This beautiful bonze bust looks much better in person, delighting the senses with exceptional Art Nouveau detail from all points of view. The work is in excellent condition for an object 100 years old. br The surface of rich quality with a patina that resonates. br We did notice there is a small 3\\u002F16th indentation just above her left breast. br We are not sure if this is organic ( By the artist's hand ) or a slight dent. br Fortunately, the imperfection is only visible under certain light. br In summary, this is an exceptional casting of a classic work by Villanis . br The piece is quite heavy ... perhaps 45 pounds and outperforms in person. br From 360 degrees it delights the eye with the sitter's beauty and charm. br Best
