Photographer Robert Funk presents and early example of staged
photography. He painted the image of a pair of hot sexy legs in red
shoes to a lenght of 28 inches. He based his painting on a 40's pin-up
illustration. Then he mounted it to a support board and then silhouetted
it. On a trip to Rio de Janeiro in 1978, he put his hot legs painting
into his suitcase and while in Rio, it went for a walk. The resulting
image is captured as the painting stolls down the famed black-and-white
wave patterned Calçadão de Copacabana. Signed, dated, numbered lower
right , Printed on Hahnemuhle Fineart Baryta, Print by ArtMedia Studio ,
Miami
